Dedicated to the care of older people that are physically frail, require nursing care, or who have dementia, the staff at The Moors Care Centre will be committed to providing the very best in personalised care in an innovative, welcoming and friendly environment.

The Moors Care Centre offers the highest quality, person-centred care, within a contemporary environment which is both relaxing and stimulating. Well trained and motivated staff create an environment that enables people to live rich and active lives. Our care homes are designed and developed to be fitfor-purpose and future-proof, with every thought given to the overall well-being of the residents.

The Moors Care Centre is situated on the outskirts of the charming City of Ripon, and benefits from excellent bus and road links. Opened in June 2015 the impressive modern building occupies the site of the former Wheatsheaf public house and provides single accommodation with en-suite wet rooms for 70 people within four separate suites. Choice, privacy and dignity is guaranteed and residents may freely enjoy a music room, a cinema, numerous living spaces and dining areas, a computer room and library, wide corridors, themed rooms, a café, a hairdressing salon and delightful gardens.

At the centre of our ethos is the desire to treat everyone individually. A choice of nutritionally balanced meals is always available on a daily basis. We arrange stimulating and enjoyable activities. Some activities are designed to help the rehabilitation process, sometimes involving carefully measured risks. No matter what the weather there is always a chance to be in the garden.
